The profiling packages are software and version specific. Download the profiling package for the software you use. Each profiling package contains the following items:

1. Software Title and Version PDF: Detailed software specific instructions for printing the target, installing, evaluating, and printing with a profile as well as workflow trouble shooting and what to do if you are not satisfied with your profile.
2. Printer Driver Settings PDF: detailed printer driver settings instructions for stabilizing and optimizing your printer's operation and how to select a Media Type when printing on paper that is not listed in the printer driver.
3. Basic Color Management PDF: Explains how and why color management works in plain English without going too deeply into the underlying science.
4. Order Form PDF
5. Order Form Instructions PDF
6. Shipping Label PDF
7. 4 Folders containing the Target Files: the target is available in 4 sizes:

2 pages-8.5"x11"	7 pages-5"x7"
3 pages-8"x10"	10  pages-4"x6"

 

 

All 4 target sizes contain the exact same 1728 randomized patches. You only need to print one size but you must print all the pages of whatever size target you choose to print.  All 4 sizes use the same amount of ink but the 8.5"x11" uses the least paper.

The Profiling Package is a zip file.  Save the zip file to a known location on your computer and expand/extract the files before trying to open any of the files.

Please read the instructions before opening the target files.

The instructions must be read in the Adobe Acrobat Reader (*.PDF). If you receive an error message when opening the instructions files there are a couple possible causes:

1. You have not expanded the zip file.  The files cannot be opened until the zip file has been expanded/extracted.  If the zip file does not automatically expand when it is double-clicked; try right-clicking and choose Extract or Expand from the Menu; 

2. You may need to update Adobe Acrobat Reader to the latest version.  If you have trouble updating your copy of Adobe acrobat Reader to the latest version you may need to uninstall the old version. Then download and install the new latest version of Adobe Acrobat as a new program;

3. Mac users: Mac Viewer will not open these PFD files; you must use Adobe Acrobat Reader. 

If you do not have a utility for expanding zip files or Adobe Acrobat Reader there are links at the bottom of this page to sites where you can download a free copy of the utility that you need.

The ordering process is not complete until you send an email message to: Orders@CathysProfiles.com from the email account where you want your order delivered.  The message shall contain the following information: 

1. Your first and last name.  

2. The email address where you want your order sent.  

3. Your full mailing address.

4. The telephone number and convenient times to reach you between noon and 8 pm Pacific time.
